Spanish video 1
Our biggest accomplishment was that we were able to perform an actual scene in Spanish. We decided to challenge ourselves by not just doing a normal conversation involving vocabulary that we were not terribly familiar with. The script was fairly difficult to write and memorize, but our practice really paid off.
We were able to speak Spanish for the entire video, which was about 80 seconds long. It was challenging to get to that point and took a lot of practice and work. The main challenge was being able to actually write an interrogation scene and rewrite in Spanish in a way that made sense and didn’t sound as if it was poorly translated from English.
For the next video, I’d like to do another scene that would challenge my vocabulary and be fun to watch. Perhaps, I could do another scene involving cheesy cop show cliches.
I would give myself a 10 for this video. I put in a lot time and work into the script and learning how to recite and pronounce it correctly. This hard work really paid off, since you are able to see an entertaining and fun conversation in the video below.
